We use high end period correct hardware to ensure our conversions are as high quality as analog tape can be. Other large conversion companies use cheap readily available VCR’s and cheap USB dongles. We use high end JVC SVHS VCR’s along with the best in ATI capture cards, and a time based corrector, to ensure the best transfer quality.

Multiple ways to drop off

  • drOP BOX

    Come in person to drop off your tapes at our in person drop box kiosk, located at 627 College Highway in Southwick, MA. The drop box is open 7 days a week 8am-9pm outside of our office in suite 7. There you will follow the prompts on our interactive drop box, make your payment, and within three weeks we will ship your tapes back to you at the provided address (for free!).

  • SHIP IT

    For $9.99, have your tapes shipped to our offices. Return shipping back to you is free on all of our orders as well. You will get a download link in your email with the shipping label, and once received we will ship your tapes within 3 weeks.

You may look at that and think… woah you use Windows XP? Yes, for capturing analog media, it is often said that the best capture cards ever made for analog media were the ATI All In Wonder capture cards. We use one of these cards ourselves in an old PC and send the video over to our more modern computer for further editing. As you can see, we also use a high end JVC (the company that invented the VHS format) VCR that has an S-video output for higher resolution capturing. We also use a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card (one of the best sound cards for analog media conversion) for the audio.
